Watching - The Little Nyonya

I started to watch The Little Nyonya. A Sinkapo series that promotes the custom of the Peranakans. Thanks to them, else less n less ppl knows bout peranakan..even got a fren ask, "do u pray 5 times a day?"

They are very detailed. The costume, the customs, the food, the house..the tableware....fu yoh...looks like they did a good research and many homework..would be purfect if they speak the peranakan language.

Other than the jalan cerita yang menyayat hati...I'm hoping to know more of the culture....as I started to feel that I'm sooooo not peranakan... the nyonya suppose to pandai masak, pandai buat kuih, very lemah lembut, tak garang, always kat dapur....ish....

Manage to balik Melaka on 2nd week of Jan; and it was the first time balik after kahwin. Feel like sooooo long never go back.

This year CNY would be a different ones..til the 2nd last day, still didn't really feel the mood. Maybe din go back for kuih due to training in WW4..then didn't really shop til I drop (economy meleset la...) Then celebrating with different family...would be superly missing my cute little nephews and nieces!! **jiwang-ing**

Anyway, wishing everyone Gong Xi Fa Cai! Always prosperous and great luck all the time! :)

I was just been forwarded a meaningful message and at the end of it the "Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively."
Made me recalled that earlier of the day..I was with ' the brothers' to sweat out at permata. Today, we did touch a few topics and one of it was about 'fat'. Where all girls always think that they are FAT; including those slim girls who has no fat to lose, but still go on-diet.
Me, oh I'm the chubby ones (see, I did not use the word "FAT"), who started to have weight concerns when I'm surrounded by slim girls. Especially when the slim girls say want to go on diet; whereby to me, she/they are already in good shape).
Who doesn't want to look good? Who doesn't want to have body like those super models? Somehow today I told 'the brothers' that I sometimes think that I'm very thankful coz I'm not crippled or stuff like that...and I can do a lot of activities with my limbs, whenever I want. It's hard to imagine IF (touchwood!) I don't have them.

But then, there will be others who think that one should not be too comfortable at current situation and should look for betterment. hmmm....what say u?

I think I'm the very normal person and I'm gonna just live with it...try my best...get rid of the "FAT" word from my head and be positive and be THANKFUL :)

Cut the cake in his seluar tidur...muahaha...didn't expect a cake from me I think. Sooo long did not get him any present, so this year, bought him a wallet. Glad to see his excited face (probably too long din get present alrd) when he open his present. Straight 'migrated' his stuff to the new wallet.

Yesterday...was a tiring day....went for the wedding album shoots.... since 11am-8pm. I think tiring than I go on shift. Initially was very excited...photographer doesn't have to say 'smile more"...but, after lunch break...energizer battery also sudah lemah...senyum pun kena suruh..

It was worse when we go outdoor shoots...was alrd 6pm....with many ppl around...adui..malu nye...but, who cares. Just thinking of ending the session faster then can go back already. So, I think the end part is already 'cin-cai'..

Anyway..hopefully they will photoshop more and pics will turns out nice! :D

p/s: oh yes, makeover did transformed my small eyes to look bigger....notice in the pic? kkekeke...but, can't make me look slimmer..oh well, that's the fact ;)

Since last Thursday, I was in 'family' mode as my parent & brothers were all here in PG. Had ~2 days to bring them around and also eat..but what we basically do is, go to a place..eat...back to hotel sleep...come out to a place....eat again...ehehe...well, my family no longer consist of ppl below 30 (except me la ..kekkeke), so got to consider the tireness on planning the itinery. I'm glad that they had great time being around, especially eating nice food of Penang of course!

Then, comes the Sunday..mom woke me up at 5.30am coz she cant sleep! My eyes were so heavy that morning...dah lah cannot sleep properly with my hairdo (did it on Sat afternoon)...then mom pulak so early shake ppl to get up...aduh...mom pulak over nervous...even went to the loo to poo poo...my bros also laughed at her..:D

Comes the place....Buddhist Association in Mak Mandin. Nervous? not so obvious on me I think as I was trying to look good on the camera :p...and with many frens & family around...I think I did not really feel the tense...just a little during the 'signing contract' part...and...there it goes...change my status to M, and yes....I'm now part of the Leong's. Life commitment...hope god will bless our commitment with joy & happiness that last long enough :)

Choices

Last Monday...it was all about choices..choices..and choices....of course...including the decision making :)
First of all, thanks to MW, JL & HY whom had accompanied me to CB. Had a fun session 1pm - 4pm there....even curi curi take pics...kekkee...decided to pay extra to take the 'i-like-it' dress. I did try an elegant look maroon dress, but still doubting whether I should spend a couple of hundreds more on it. Still hoping would get a better deal, but looks like kinda hard coz its a new arrivals. hmm...might as well let it be for the time being :)
Then, continue with casual white dress (not only dress la...got others also) hunting in QM. Happily found one from the lack-of-colors shop "ELEMENTS". Bought it and went ahead to enjoy Sakae Sushi...kekeke...found the seaweed salad there is not bad (although cannot fight with Spore's SushiTei, but boleh la). Out of the house from 11am and get back at ~11pm, it has been a while I never do this, but a very fruitful ones.

This time, the air conditioning of 6533 was very cold. I can still feel the cold eventhough I had wrapped myself under my fleece blanket. We finally stopped somewhere, maybe somewhere after sg. buluh where the air-con was shut off.

After the loo, I went straight back up to my seat and covered myself again. Suddenly I heard someone said "turn the heater on, it's too cold!" and the accent sounded like a British. I was like, "huh? heater?" I looked up and saw this old, skinny English man, wearing a thin colared shirt, tugged into his short cargo pant. "yes, Msia is asian country, but its not always warm/humid". That was a little mistake he made - to be in the night bus with short pant and no jacket/sweater/blanket.

I felt sorry for him as the bus driver was rude at him and they did not use English. One of them pointed to the back of the bus and said "go to your seat" with a stern voice. It was COLD! and that poor man cant resist and he sit near the door because it was not as cold as at the seat. I felt so bad that I cant offer any help. Deeply disappointed with the bus drivers. They did not offer help or increase the temperature (not sure if the temperature can be altered). After about 10 mins, there's this kind chap handed over his jacket to that poor man. Thank god! Kindness does exist! Probably that nice chap has another jacket.

I've always believe in KARMA; even Alicia Keys sings it and Justim Timberlake also sang What Goes Around Comes Around. This nice guy would surely get help when he needed one. As for the bus drivers, hmphh! Not that I wanted to be evil, but I think they deserve some bad treats on one of the days in their life.

So, be kind! :D

It's been a while since my last post...went to s'pore and then bz with cny at hometown..

I had a bad tooth ache (stupid wisdom tooth) a few days before cny... pap & mom were worried and they tried to prepare this, that to make sure that I'm in good shape for cny. so kam tong....aiz...only god knows how great a mother, a father is...wonder if we are good enough as their children.

2008 cny was a warmth ones...I really treasured it as it might be the final year that I am at home on the 1st day. We slept late every nites and had laughters in the middle of the nite. It was so nice to be around and join the laughters! Add ons were funny acts from my niece and nephews... especially when Ard feel asleep while eating satay, still munching the meat in his mouth with eyes closed! ...kakaka...

I'm so grateful that I'm in this warmth, caring and close family!

Get back to "life"

Finally get back to "life" after 8 days disconnected from the Internet :p

Basically the 8 days were rice, rice and rice....until I got kembang alrd..muahhaa...

And happiest thing is to get the ROYCE chocolate! gosh...melt in your mouth...argh...undescribably nice....manage to get 3 boxes (not so big ok, 1"x1" size and got 20 pieces in a box) home and even my sis-in-law fell in love with it..kekek.. so for those who likes chocolate, do try royce nama chocolate > http://www.e-royce.com/items/nama/index.php and make sure they are not out of the fridge for more than 5 hrs ;)

Oh, and I have completed shopping for cny clothes. Noticed that the older u get, the lesser clothes u buy....maybe bcoz the money tends to go somewhere else :D

Beware of YELLOW NOODLES!

Saw in the star online, my eyes got bigger for a while when I saw Boric acid found in noodles - "YELLOW noodles made by two renowned factories have been found to contain dangerous chemicals which can cause cancer and impotence, reported Harian Metro".

"The use of boric acid and benzoic acid in food is prohibited because it can cause cancer and impotence, as well as other health problems such as kidney failure, diarrhoea, nausea and even death. It is often used as a preservative for insect control and in the manufacture of furniture and glass. However, noodle manufacturers have opted to use it in their food despite the known health risks, because the noodles stay “fresh” longer"

Alright, can say we are surrounded by food that contains this yellow me.. hokkien mee, lor mee, lam mee, char mee, mee bandung, mee hailam.... u name it... they all consist of the yellow mee! of course its nice...but now they found boric acid that could jeopardize our health... nak makan pun kena jaga-jaga...so the next time go order food, need to consider the amount of yellow mee... I think for me, option would be to change to all bee hoon ....kekkeke...but once in a while eat it shouldn't be that bad gua... ;)

Well, too much for anything in this world is bad..maybe except money :p

Bedding, what do you think?

Just got introduced to Akemi last year (by my brother!) and I've been doing some bedding for a few weeks now due to the on-going sale around Sunshine Sq & Jusco QM.

Bedding.....few words that would come into your mind would be Akemi, Aussino, Elle, Windsr.....and many more... but there would be one significant word (and not any brand name) that comes into my mind, NOT CHEAP!!!

hahaa.... everyone wants to be comfortable when they are on their beauty sleep :)...and ppl also hope that the material is long lasting....however, ppl tends to like...em... more lenient when it comes to the price. Oh yes, ppl would wait for sale... but even on sale, bedding would still be >>> NOT CHEAP!

For example, quilt cover + bedsheet set is on 70% sale. But, the it is 70% on RM563 (taking cheapest king size set as example). You still need to pay RM168.90. Worth buying? If compared to paying RM563, need I say more? Of course worth it rite??!! Then another question popped up, will 1 set be enough? hahhaa...

Bedding, never cheap...and at the same time (the pain point).... never enough!!!!

Really hope what I get is worth the money. I mean, tahan lama la...heeheh..

hmmm... recently (within few months), many things has gone more expensive...started with flour, then cooking oil (now want to buy also limited, some even running out of stock!)... I heard today's news over the TV, some restaurant will stop selling roti canai next week due to supply of cooking oil is far less than the demand....wahahha.... suddenly I feel like go n eat before they stop selling! And government ensure that the SUBSIDIZED COOKING OIL wont naik harga...(tapi the petrol sure naik this year la)

Haircut.... I will normally get one before cny.... not sure why but its kinda like a 'must-do' before cny. So I went, a month earlier coz they said the price will go ~50% extra.

But anyhow, got sms-es from friends for new year wishes :D..so kinda happy also. Got a cute ones from ex-colleague >> "Mr.Chong and his family will visit me. I'll ask them to visit u too! They are: Chong Ma Piu, Chong Tai Choi, Chong To To & Chong 4D. They'll be there to wish u Good Luck and Don't worry, one of the members Chong Sa Mun is out of town and will not visit u..haha..Happy New year 2008!" typical chinese way of wishing new year :D

Xmas eve in SG and Xmas nite @ GSM

Christmas this year was a special...Thanks to WC to organized this fun (a lil' tired though) trip...mucks mucks :D.

This year, I had it in Singapore! heheh...its my first time to Spore and went there during xmas!

The decorations were soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice...the streets, the shopping malls.... everywhere filled with xmas spirit!

Spore, the first thing that is significant is their buildings... very well maintained. I guess that their apartments are painted every year or maybe once in every couple of years because you cant really tell if a block is newly build or its been there for long time. Had a great time at Sentosa Island, where I got my tanned/burnt skin from. haha... the musical + light show > "Songs of the Sea" was awesome! Recommended for those who wants to have a visit to Spore :D.

After 10 hrs bus ride, I actually manage to get back to the GSM Xmas Party! Fun, hilarious and enjoyable 2 hrs at the office ;). And I got myself a cute snowman for the gift exchange ;)

What a weekend!

I went back to Mlk again after one day work in Pg for WW50. Exhausted with the bus thingi but those were just minor stuff... what made me happy was the wedding night...and this is for the wedding of my so called 'god-bro' on 16th Dec, got a Taiwanese wife who grew up in Australia...while my god-bro owns a law firm there after completing his law for few yrs of studies..ekkekeke.... I took 2 days leave and reached Mlk on 14th.

..Day 1..After had breakfast with my parent, we headed to Cheng, where my 'kampung' is. Everybody started to help out at the kitchen on the raw stuff for the food preparation for the pre-day and also the wedding day. Coincidently, my cousin sis (Liang) from KL is around during this school holidays and requested me to bring them shopping! As there were so many 'kitchen helpers', I left my god-father's place and headed to Jusco. There were 3 adults and 4 kids in my dad's Gen2..hehhe...not bad huh...Liang jie was so happy coz all she does in KL was to clean the house and rarely go out shopping. Well, as a full time homemaker, staying with in laws with no husband around... she finds it really enjoying to shop back in Mlk where ppl waits for her and there's no need to rush. I felt good to make her happy. This is the first time we met in 2007, coz I was already back to Pg when she came visit during cny. Shopping ended about 3 hrs and it was quite a good one as Liang jie got herself a handbag, sandal and a blouse; not to forget, a pant for her 10 yrs old son - Siang Siang. Then I got a call from Larry (god-father) and this time to fetch Melvin & Jennifer to the bridal house. Liang accompanied me. I walked into the lobby of City Bayview and saw Mel & Jen sitting there. Mel cant recognize me (after din meet for several years) so I had to intro myself again :). We headed to the bridal house to confirm the hairdo and make ups. Jen has her own evening dress so nothing else needed from the bridal house. To my surprise, Mel has put on weight....look muscular though..must have been working out at the gym...and his charming eyes still there :). I do envy Jen's fair, smooth and flawless skin. Maybe this is the 'trademark' of Taiwanese, nice skin. Conversation, Mel has developed the accent..nice one and like to hear him speak. Same goes with Jen, Aussie + Taiwan slang. Somehow I ended up speaking my broken Mandarin with Jen..hehhe....Then, I sent them back to the hotel and wait for Lau, bestest fren of my god-father's as he lend his car to Mel to drive around town. After everything is settled, we headed back to Cheng...and this is already 7 in the evening.... there goes my day 1, a driver :D...

Day 2..The big day. However, this is a simpler than I thought. It is because Mel & Jen already had their church wedding ceremony in Australia about a month back. So the day was just food for relatives that came & tea ceremony. As god-sis, I get to cham cha for Mel & Jen. So damn embarassing ... hehhe.... have to call "kor" and "ah sou" in front of so many ppl..*blush blush*. Jen then mentioned that she likes to see us wearing kebaya...my mom brought extra and she tried it on...with no time wasted, she said she would like to have one and there I go fetching her to Mahkota Parade. Within 30 mins, Jen got herself a nice sexy red kebaya, with a matching sequined kain. That was a cool and fastest shopping I ever had for a kebaya....well, she's happy with it. Kebaya shopping is done and we headed back to Cheng.

It's 3.30pm and we had to be at the hotel at 5.30pm. I have 2 hrs to prep up. I quickly go and get a simple hairdo which only cost me rm6! hehe..cheap huh... 4.15pm, bath + kebaya + make up and I'm ready at 5pm! Tired of driving, I let my dad drove us (dad, mom + me) to the hotel. We got there much earlier as we need to be there for the cocktail arrangement with pineapple tarts. Also, liquor for the wedding were in my dad's car. My bro arrived at 6.15pm and brought 2 back pack with him - laptop for the presentation and camera for the photo shooting. Didn't know that he has 2 canon with him. I kay-pohly approached him to see if he has extra ones for me to play around. ngiak ngiak ngiak.... he handed me a 30D (company camera) with his bazooka 200mm lens! He said just snap snap as he already set it. Great! coz I do not know how the settings work and I can just snap here n there :p... so I officially bcome the 2ndary camera gal ;).

It was so cool to hold that camera and snap here and there...I can just stand at the stage and take pictures of the bride and groom right at the entrance. My bro was really supportive.... he said don't care about anything, just shoot whatever you want. It is DSLR and you can always delete & edit it later on. Apa lagi.... I just shoot la...hehhehe....but by the time the bride & groom sits down, my hands and feet already sore. I was on my 2.5 inch heeled shoes and the lens was heavy! After that, I was lazy to walk around anymore. I just go around once in a while. Then, there were joget songs! Afraid that I'm gonna be pulled to the dance floor, I took the camera and k c k c take pics... hahah... good way to escape as I do not know how to joget! :p

The dinner went well. Quite a number of people wore kebaya. Food was nice and there's no feeling for supper after that as the portion was sufficient. I then stood outside to take pics at the reception as guests are leaving. Dinner ended about 10.30 and it was about 11.00 that everything cleared up. But that's not it. I then went into the other room where my parent and my god-father counting ang pau to pay for the bill. Ang pau was sufficient enough to cover the bill and there were extra a couple of k. So nothing to be worried about. While waiting, my bro load the pics from 30D to his laptop.... I was superbly happy when he said 'boleh tahan jugak your pics'... hehhee.... not bad not bad... :D...need more practise ;)

12 midnite, bill settled. We all headed home and reached home about 45 mins later. With my hair still keras, I straight went to bed and it was already 1.30am. I know it's not proper, but I have no energy to really care anymore. One word - Tired.

Tired, but that was a great weekend. It's been a while since I helped out and attend a very close relative's wedding. I was really glad to see the peranakan still wears kebaya to attend dinners. There were quite a few asked me where to get the kebayas ;). I was like the kebaya promoter pulak. ekkeke... hope that more ppl will wear kebaya yang tak lapuk ditelan zaman :D.

Detachment

Looking at the sky...sometimes make you feel calm...I feel this especially after I was angry over stuff...maybe just some small little stuff. Too bad I'm a woman and I admit that I can't take it like the men does.

Maybe...maybe men are better with anger management or good with 'detachment'. Detachment, this is what I learnt after reading "Tuesdays with Morrie". I felt what Morrie said was right. If you keep thinking of something that affects your emotions, you are not letting youreself going through what you are experiencing, you are attached to this emotions! So, one must learn to detached to move forward.

What's the point of getting angry that long? It will only make me feel bad, affect my emotions and maybe even spoil the good mood of the day! I've figured out that whenever I'm in the same situation, I should look at the sky...free my mind...count from 10 - 0...repeat as many time as possible and maybe think of ice-creams ! :) yeah.... ice-cream...who hates ice-cream huh :p

Completed 7-Days Assignment

At 10-19-2007, 12am, I'm officially completed my 7-days assignment!!!

What assignment? hahaha.... to take care of Happy as my brother went to 7-days vacation in China.

Happy is a male pekingese who is about 2 yrs old...very manja, sensitive and playful...also, wakes ppl up before 6am!!!

It's a great experience to see how disciplined I can be actually...just that I feel tak senang hati if leave him alone at home when I go to work or go to other places.... and feel 'terikat'..

So the normal routine is to wake up early and bring Happy for morning walk (a.k.a toilet time), heat up his brunch, play with him .. then evening, bring him out for evening walk (toilet time again) and then dinner... and that's it... eh, got summor... need to brush his hair, let him take vitamins everyday, ensure he wears mini socks at home (so that he wont scratch and hurt himself), fan is always turned ON (he gets hot easily), rub his body (so-called belly rub) and manja with him so that he wont be so EMO!!! hahaa... So ho mia punya dog.... hmmmm..... cannot scold him, else he wont finish his meals... hhaa.. chu bie...

I brought him to my place for the final 3 days and after he left, the first morning.. I actually feel a bit tak biasa.. and the moment writing this blog... kind of wondering what is he doing... hmmmph... got a bit miss him pulak... haha...

Ipoh ran out of "kai"!!!

Went to Ipoh on 3rd day of raya... with the 'go ipoh eat nga choi kai' mindset... with the traffic jam, rain, saw few minor accidents, laughters and sneering along the way.... we reached ipoh about 2.5 hrs later..
There were a loads of ppl at the place to eat nga choi kai... dengan semangatnya we walked over to 'lou wong' and opened a table...a men with lou wong t-shirt walked over:-

Q: have you ordered?

A: not yet

Q: we only have hor fun, but chicken finish alrd

A: like that ar... then nvm la....

dengan pai seh nya we left the opened table...aakkakaka....then we moved to the shop opposite with the HOPE that we'll have what we wanted.... dengan hampanya we left the shop too...

whaaaaaat?????!!!! no more 'kai' at 7.30pm??????? this is so unbelievable... macam boleh masuk m'sia guiness book of record or ripley's believe it or not.. akakakka....

we ended up eating at 'tuck kei' (if i remember the name right).... had hor fun and nga choi....

went all the way to Ipoh eat nga choi, no kai......1st time... hahaa...

I wonder how many ppl will actually go to the mansion after this is on thestar news.. for me, I won't dare to go... creeeeeepyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Move Complete!

Finally.... 'room' move completed! :D

It took me from Sun - Wed, from clean - move - tidy up.... sounds tired huh.. but ok la.. can still enjoy hiking .. haha..

Do I like the room? Yes I do!!! It's bigger, and my stuff doesn't look as crowded as my previous room. The best part is, i'm sleeping on a queen size bed now! hehhee... so hang fook... also, this room has wardrobe in the wall, cool huh... hehee.. although its not a new house, but this house is not bad.

Talk bout other places of the hse... Got a big living room.. no sofa.. but my hsemate already getting one for RM250 (2nd hand)....muahaha..then can watch tv nicely after today, coz it will be delivered today... :)

Kitchen.. hmm.. got one small stove, enough to cook maggi mee :p.. fridge that is more sejuk than normal ones... semi-auto washing machine.. talk bout this semi-auto washing machine... i feel so dumb when i first use it.. haha... coz i'm not sure how!!! hehhee.. like trial n error.. and my first attempt was when there is no one at home... at least if salah, no ppl laugh at me..ekkeeke..then.. hmmph.......... got a few pokok bunga outside.. can do gardening when free also :)

Nearby, there is a park where ppl walk, jog, exercise...and many ppl go! feel like the community is so health conscious :D

Housemates : currently got 2 guys (1 intel-ier, 1 agilent-er), soon 1 gal (intel-ier). the 2 guys very chin chai one.. especially 'vam ker' kekke.... can reserve parking for me summor... nice huh...

Secara kesimpulannya, I like this place!!! :D

Today, our ms pretty (JL) has started to work the same shift as me. Lunch, din get to talk that much. On the way to dinner, she turned to me and say 'hey, I say U don't angry ar... U "kembang" alrd' ... warghhhhhhh...........

It's true coz sendiri can rasa one rite..ehhee... it's a 'wake up call' for me also. That's y la.. sedapkan mulut, badan binasa.... rasakan... muahhahaa... go? no go? I think just let it be la.... can't really get rid of the kgs also...

Salute TC! within a month, he can rid off ~6kg!!! OMGosh..... will he be the metrosexual kind of man?

hehee... today the first batch dinner folks went to bazaar ramadhan... hhaha.. and for this time, I bought Nasi Ulam, kebab & few pieces of triangle shape curry puff (I think it's curry puff la). After 'shopping', we then 'landed' at Sunshine market and 'buka puasa' (thinking... tak malu, tak puasa, tapi buka puasa..hahaha..)

So I started with my nasi ulam, which has raw vege mix with the rice (like kacang panjang, serai..bla bla...).... it smells nice, tapi..hmm.. not as nice as I expected. It was dry and I like my food to be 'basah'. So, had to take gravy of ML's satay instead. hahaa...then only nice. Still, I prefer nasi kerabu....mm mm..

Winner of the day is............................................................. KEBAB!!!! haha... din know it turned out that the kebab is the best...eat until so full....

I miss lantern lighting

Called my mom this afternoon before lunch... she was doing her "math tuition" (it's ok if you don't know what that is.... only certain ppl understood :p) with my dad and god father... heard laughters.... sounded so happy... She joyfully updated that her 'war' with my dad has over..haha... cute..

Then she asked, 'mei, tak balik ka'... hmmph... I wish I can but it's like.... I can't really get a nice spot to go back this month... ww38 is short week and if go back, sure she will bising coz wil reach on sunday, then go back on monday nite.. kinda rush... then next week, need to clean the new place that I'm gonna stay in.... and the last time I went back was 25 Aug, its over 4 weeks alrd! Nvm, the next time I go back, will try to arrange leave taking and spend time with her..... plus, its Jusco sale season!! haha...

The main thing that I'm gonna miss this year for Mid-Autumn is, to light up lanterns and hang on the pokok-pokok outside my house (at home town lor). Childish? Well, up to you what you want to say.. hhahaha.. I won't mind... it's just that I really like Mid-Autumn festival and I really think lighting up lanterns (no matter big or small) is a should-do thing to celebrate it ;) You will feel delighted when you see there are many nice and adorable lanterns hanging around the house... :D

Yesterday nite, received an sms from EL (my colleague) sayang she gave birth to a baby boy of 3.05 kg at 4.30pm. Wow, CONGRATS!!! I'm really happeeee for her...ehhee....
So today, after training, me & BK when to see her. Brought along a nicely wrapped fruit basket from my dept :) Reached at the hospital, both me & BK didn't know she's in which room... haha.. had to ring her for room no. We then get to see the baby!!
It was the visiting hours and all babies are 'displayed' for visitors at the baby room. Errr.... they actually look the same! haha.. Well, EL's baby has her hubby's face :D..tapi cute la...

After baby session, BK wanted to go to his fren's famous shop.... manatau..it was closed!!! arrgghhh.... it is the 2nd time alrd I din get to eat... waarrghh, geramnye!!!!

But nvm, haha.. we reached KIMCHI instead. hmm... food is not bad.. tapi i think i still prefer jap food than korean..no offence for the korean food lovers :p

Ok... since I'm so in mood to 'talk'... a few things should be updated also....hehee..

1. I have fringe now (actually started about a month ago la)
I was recommended by Jael (our ms pretty from my dept) to go AVER to try out. Dengan penuh semangat I went there... expecting them to recommend some wavy or curly hairstyle.. but NO.. Jun (stylist) wanted to straighten and do fringe for me... my main concern is my superb chubby face.. how to suit straight hair? look more chubby rite? Fine, she assured it would be nice...ok.. I ask here n there... no one seems to really support chubby me to go for hair straightening...haha... I cannot tahan alrd.... after few days of asking, suak liao la.. straighten it would be then.... so.. this is the outcome lor... stil boleh tengok la..haha.. kinda like it... but yesterday went and trimmed it a bit.. became short alrd... and now look like dunno wad.. haiz...

Oh ya, I'm moving to another place in Oct later, in few weeks time actually. It's gonna be nearer to work place and its near to recreation park where ppl walk, jog, tai chi.. hehe... kinda cool place :)

Damn long never blog already... fu yoh... feel like ages, decades.. u name it.. hahaa...
Well, I think I should start blogging and try to be as c0nsistent as I can, to blog :)
Started off with retrieving my blog and re-logon with a new password coz I've forgotten my previous password (as expected). Then deleted my old posts.. :)

Today, I did what I've been thinking to do since last year >> go to bazaar ramadhan at Sunshine! Of coz, not many Chinese... If not mistaken, where were only a handfull... but ... who cares :p... There were so many food, plenty of choices, like malay food heaven... untill I just buy what I felt like eating.... hehhee.... felt like accomplished something :p ... get to eat my fave nasi kerabu. It is blue in color and has ulam a bit and I added fried fish....... I also 'ta pau' my fave kuih kuria (if u wonder what that is, it looks like donut, but made of ubi keledek.. nice... ), pucuk paku masak lemak ...then reach home, use finger to eat my dinner, fu yoh.. feel at home and its really nice!

Called my mom and told her bout my dinner... she said she's gonna do the same tomoro! haha...see, this is wad me n my mom will do if I'm back at home!

I'm going back home, yes HOME!!! It's been a month already I didn't eat my mom's yummy food ...slurp slurp :)
The last time I went back was on my mum's + nephew's bday! It was really a fun family reunion. Belum CNY dah reunion......hahhaa... we went to City Bayview chinese restaurant (forgot the name already... pai seh ar) and the food >> YUMMY!!! (recommended for special occasions :D)
There was 9 dishes (including dessert!) and we finished it!! See the pic also know, 9 dishes.. sap sap sui la.. all the size like "that" one ... muahhahhha...We were all stuffed with food and barely stand up after we finished. RM6** but was sedap and everyone was happy!!
Well, this time going back to help out my mom buat kuih for CNY!!!

i think i start to see myself 'aging'.... i tend to forget passwords, especially those that i occasionally use. hmmph...... its time to write it all down in a book
well, i'm not sure how many ppl out there actually write all so-called confidential info in a specific book... is it safe?

let say forget bout the safety part, what if suddenly i die (touch wood la .. i belum kahwin , belum ada anak cucu...still want to live longer), then no one knows my e-bank account lor (as if banyak duit..muahhahhaa... )
aih.... don't care la.. just write in a 'book' la.. else very ma huan. need to do this and that..
there was once i forgot my public bank e-bank account... have to go to the branch i apply the e-bank and reset.. see, ma huan rite?
